Question iStat Menu Request...

First of all thank you to guys who make iStat Menu, very useful for the geeky Mac users like myself wanting to know what my system is doing in the background behind all that eye candy :-)

I just have one small request which may or may not already be addressed in the next version planned for snow leopard.

It's to do with the hard drive indicators and the size. Currently the it is very small and hard to read when the HD is reading/writing.

What i have now is menu meters installed to do just that one task since it has much more clear indicator as displayed by this screen shot of the red and green arrows.

Would it be possible to add the same size/design in iStat Menu HD indicator?

Cheers,

Frank

iStat Menus 2.0 has some different activity indicators. I think (hope) you'll be happy with them

Hello,

i'm confuesd about the memory usage:
I habe 4Gib installed - in Leopard used and free RAM in addition constitute 4.00.
Now in Snow Leopard I get 3.75:
Click the image to open in full size.

What's confusing me, is that because of that 10 base thing a HD with 320GB shows up as 320 and not as 298 (base 2, Leopard). You get "more".
Why I'm geting "less" memory?!

I just realized that Activity Monitor shows me 3.75, too... :-S
Damn

Is that normal / correct? Or is my 15 macbook pro (latest model) not able to use the full amount of memory?

Thanks for helping
Cheers Dominic
