Default Flash time separators

is there a way to get the colon separating the hours and minutes to flash each second like Apple's clock does? If not, I'd like to make that feature request.

Apple Icon -> System Preferences -> Date & Time-> Clock -> Flash Time Separators

hopefully this is what your after

Using iStat menu, not the default Apple clock.
