Found at Gizmodo

Sony have run out of ideas for their Vaio laptops and so just mashed all the Apple notebooks into their latest Vaio FW and SR models.

Doesn't look that bad really.
It gets a B+ from me. Good effort Sony, have a silver star sticker, but if you put in the effort, maybe next time you'll get a gold one.

Looks like they've duct-taped the keyboard to the palm rest-trackpad...

Not too bad really, but I still hate those things on the corners of the screens...

You know what annoys me about PC notebook keyboards? The arrow keys are always full-size, so jut out lower than the bottom row. It just looks untidy. I like how they're narrowed on the Macbooks so they stay in line.

sony could make the coolest looking laptop on the planet, and i'd still wouldnt be interested.. and only one company is to blame.. microsoft, not touching anything with windows installed.

if sony laptops had osx installed, i'd start to give them the time of day.

but yeah, those keys are a blatant rip

Since Apple moved to Intel CPUs it has now become possible (but not condoned by MacTalk and especially not by Apple) to install OS X on most Wintel PC's.

I bet when these are released here, these will be more expensive here compared to the US.

i think the SR series are beautifully designed. Sony started using the keyboard design 4 years ago, so i would say sony copied Apple.

SR series starts from AUD$2199, definitely over priced in Australia.
