Check SU, this update resolves the issue of the first key pressed not registering when typing.

Yes hopefully this actually fixes the problem - I only started having the problem when the last update (designed to fix this same problem) came out! Before that previous update my MBP was fine!!!

Software update has not picked up the X.5.2 update, keyboard update, graphics update, security update nor this keyboard update in the last few days. I've had to download and install from the website.

Is SU system update? So it just searches for the latest updates to your OS and programs and you just download it?

SU = Software Update

It downloads and installs all updates for Apple Software.

hopefully this fixes the problem apple as of late seem to release updates that make the hardware worse not better .
