Macbook Issues Follow Up

I have contacted apple regarding my issues with the MacBook

The issues are
* Screen Flickering again (Some occasions)
* Case not sealing properly (its springy on one corner)
* Sleep light stays on

Apple have agreed to replace the laptop if i take it into Flinders St to get assessed.

Just wondering if any of you guys work there, i'll arrange a time

Cheers

Wally

Sounds like an inverter problem for the screen, maybe also for the sleep light. Just a thought.

Ok,

Its not being entirely replaced as Kalon from My Mac said that Apple will not replace a computer thats 14 months old. (Even though i was told by support they would. But i think Jason from Apple wasnt too sure.

Anyway here is whats getting done

The bottom case (with sleep light issue) is being replaced
Yet another logicboard replacement is in order
A new DVD drive is being installed (old one was buggering up)

and maybe a new battery

Im happy with this as it is out of warranty however it had the 3 month hardware warranty on top.

I am pleased to hear that Apple have looked after me such as giving me their personal email address / Phone Number.

I hope everything is ok (although it still would have been nice to have a brand new machine but ah well)
