New MBP 15" sound settings

its being nit picky* but i can hear background noises through my headphones when for example i havent got music on and i get an alert for email or msn. after a while the background noise goes away... is there a setting or something i can alter to help the situation**.

*note: i fucking love my new toy, its brings me joy to no end...
**note: if my mbp was a woman would finger her and love her every day.

What are you listening to then?

as for the noise, probably standard RF interferance from all the bits of electrical stuff that makes your pride and joy breathe.

ilostmypassword....I'm sure you have better things to do than scar my brain...don't you have a Mac Pro to play with ?
