New macbook pros a lemon?

I have yet to read or see anything good about the new macbook pros. Kernal panics from connecting to routers. Flickering LED screens. Random Restarts and underclocked CPU +GPU. This is very worrying since I have brought one and are waiting for it. Anybody got a new one to put my mind at ease?

The graphics card in the previous version of the macbook pro and in the imacs is also underclocked. This is nothing new.

Sorry Fluffy, it's "bought" not "brought" and "kernel" not "kernal"- spelling Nazi strikes.
And possibly you've gone off semi cocked, and confused the current model from its predecessor possibly?

I just noticed you currently have an iBook - man, the MBP will just blow your concerns into the weeds! Oh yeah.

I've had mine for 3 days now and it's been a fabulous upgrade from my old 1.25Ghz Al PowerBook.

I certainly haven't seen any screen problems and the battery life is unreal compared with the old PowerBook (even when it was new).

I just got a new 2.2GHz Macbook Pro, gaming is awesome under XP and everything blazes in OSX. I don't think the CPU or GPU is underclocked.

i have heard the screen of the macbook pro is a bit yellow. A little bit disturbing for photograper or graphic designer. Have you noticed it on yours??

I hear if you squeeze your MacBook Pro over a bowl of soup, it adds a nice lemony tang
