Question will macbook HD fit into a iBook G3?

just wondering if a hard drive from a MacBook will fit into my iBook G3 800MHz machine?

It's specs are...

The drive should physically fit, but won't connect to anything - the Macbook's Serial ATA drive won't connect to the iBook's Parallel ATA connector.
