Who want's to test his Telstra broadband card with my working HUAWEI HSDPA USB Modem?

Hi everybody!

I know the orange Telstra USB modem is still not working on the mac. So I have a working HSDPA modem. I can connect to the internet with my Austrian sim card.
As the technology should be the same as the NextG I was wondering if Telstras broadband data sim card would work with my modem. As I am here for just about 2 months I would sign up for a casual plan at Telstra's...

I am based in Sydney. So if anybody has interest, feel free to reply or PM me.

Thanks and best regards,
Bernd

Stefanlod, the modem supplied by Telstra (no $) will be working as soon as the manufacturer (Maxon) provide the appropriate drivers.

Benrnd, as long as the software for that card allows you to define an access point, username, password and what frequency band it uses it shouldn't be a problem.

Telstra are sending me out the orange USB modem and they are aware I am running an Apple MacBook Pro running OS X.

I was told the software has recently become available... I'm waiting to see if they send me the beta version of the software.
