MacBook Ram - 1GB or 2?
i got the new macbook 2gig duo core white with 1 gig ram i was wondering if i should upgrade it to 2gig ram and if so the best place to buy it / or of someone else.

Thread search, plenty of discussion about places to buy and what to buy.

EDIT: And determine if your machine has 2 x 512's or 1 x 1gb chip in about this mac, more info, memory section.

If you have 2 x 512's, then you will need to buy 2 x 1gb's and then sell the old chips to upgrade.

I upgraded from 512 (2x 256mb stock on base macbook) to 1.25GB, (1x 1GB, 1x 256). Its running smooth as, but im going to upgrade to 2GB for the dual memory support soon.
