I have been looking at the following piece of kit to get my Mac Mini onto my wireless network.

ADAPTOR BELKIN USB ETHERNET ADAPTOR 54G F5D7050AU The Wireless 802.11g USB Network Adapter easily connects your USB-equipped desktop or notebook computer to your wireless network for Internet and file sharing. Desktop users can now join the network with the ease of a USB plug-in, without opening their PC cases; laptop users can enjoy the benefits of staying mobile-while connected to the Internet. This unit comes with an extension cable and docking unit so as to enhance the distance of coverage.

Reading the specs it mentions Windows systems but not mac. Anyone ever seen one or used one on a mac? Don't want to buy unless I am sure it works on MAC

I have that exact same model of adaptor and no it is not compatable with Macs. I have checked that out before and I have read all the user manuals and reviews and it certainly does not work on Macs. The one I bought was even faulty and I am in the process of having it replaced.

I believe D-Link have a few USB key type devices that might suit your needs.

I'm currently using a DWL-122 which is great if you only need 802.11b speeds (plenty fast enough for sharing internet). The included drivers are crap, but some unoffical drivers are available that make it work perfectly (search the forum). Should be able to get it for less than $60.
