That's the second time she's done it. Looks like it's time for the Murdoch rags to start screening again:

http://www.danaquarium.com/article.php?sto...005022810275733

The best thing is that the reporter didn't even bother to attribute the source, let alone check it - well done Dana, you deserve this one - straight to the pool room

Great job Dana, this is snowballing, wouldnt be surprised if they called a parliamentary inquiry into the whole pc/G4 cube issue, could be seen as a threat to national security.

This is so out of control. It has been reported so many times now it has entered the realm of certified FACT (apparently).

A simple google yeilds pages of results with the same article.

http://www.google.com.au/search?biw=969&hl...le+Search&meta=

Those 'legitimate' publications which published this (Fairfax amongst others) should be ashamed of taking Slashdot.org as gospel. Dana should be proud of creating such a convincing piece, which is obviously so close to the pulse of many users dreams/desires.

Go culturejamming!

I just emailed this story to MediaWatch. Lets see what happens.

For those who don't know what's going on, on Dana's site/blog, she published a series of fake articles. Under the title of "don't believe anything you read on the internet", one of them still managed to get published as fact in a variety of media. This morning, it appeared in The Australian.

Just so everyone knows, I was being sarcastic.

This is going to be fun though.

This is rediculous!

I wonder how long it will take for them to catch on that it's all a big fat lie...

It's News Limited. They do not verify anything. That is why they are always in court being sued
