Looks nice, although I wonder how hot the unibody MBs run when closed.

This is the same people that do the backpack for iMacs.

I really like the look of it - but I have been told that the Macbook Pro's run quite hot and the way they cool is through their keyboard - not so smart when you are running it closed.

I thought they were meant to run closed if you have an external display connected..

Well, the keyboard area does get quite warm, but the vents are behind the screen hinge. It can still vent hot air when closed, but I do wonder what type of damage could happen to the display being so hot for long periods of time.

It's a neat idea, but I'd always run the laptop open just in case.

When I was enquiring about running a Unibody Macbook in closed mode with one of the LCD displays they advised that you could - but that they felt that it may damage the Macbook display due to heat - Though I'm tempted to take this with a pinch of salt as it was Nextshite.
