This may have been already covered off earlier, but on my new 15" P'book I got a few days ago (my first Apple), Gmail isn't compatible with IE for Mac.. no loss considering Safari seems to be far superior on the skinny silver beast.
Anyway, the real reason for my post - I owe this thread two Gmail invites which I have received from others. And I'd rather my new Apple compatriates get them before others whose PC's make them not worthy of my acknowledgement.
Please send me a PM if your interested and i'll send one back to the first two punters! Don't hold your breath though, i've got a busy weekend and may not be on 'til Sunday
Ciao for now.
ps. i just discovered that the package containing the manuals for my Powerbook had two Apple Inc. logo stickers... very exciting

Hey spargo, I think you'll find that almost no-one here uses IE except as an absolute last resort on their macs. Safari hint: check out tabbed browsing and you'll see one of the reasons why I don't bother with IE at all (used it for one page about 6 months ago)
enjoy, kim

Yeah tabbed browsing is awesome. I trust every Safari user here has sped Safari up?
Type: defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitInitialTimedLayoutDelay 0.0001 into terminal.

This does seem to help.

Yinyang kindly sent me an invite a few days ago. I set up my account yesterday morning and now (36 hours later) have been given 6 invites (how the hell does this work??) Yes, I have read peoples speculation in this thread but that does not seem to cover this.
The upshot is that I have 4 invites up for grabs for four of the good folks here. Usual story: PM me with your email address and I will send one to each of the first 4 PM's I recieve (1 per user only)
cheers, kim

kim
PS, you have checked your account in the last couple of hours? My invites only appeared after the outage that Ozi complained about earlier tonight.

Well jmi, I thought it might be explained by usage - I'm getting like 30 emails a day this week (ARGH!) - but kim seems to have squashed that idea. I'm confused!

I have only had two invites for my account, and have done about 300 emails in and out over the last 2 months. So i dunno how they allocate them. :S
