I'm trying to record programs off Foxtel IQ (through an EyeTV 250 plus).

I've already recorded the programs to the IQ and, as the process requires, play the program through the EyeTV and record it.

PROBLEM !:
First of all the 16:9 image is squashed into a 4:3 size and I can't work out how to retain the original broadcast 16:9 size (although it does this if I play the program back trough the TV. What do I do or what am I doing wrong?

PROBLEM 2
Although the picture quality looks fine on my macbook as it plays the program back (although there is that squashed 4:3 issue), the quality of the recorded program is really poor.
