Who the fuck is going to actually sit over a large screen/table (in MS's case) and wave their hands around? The same can be achieved with a mouse and only by moving slightly.

I can't really see a use for this other than in a kiosk.

But if you look at the 1998 iMac review (why would you want USB and ethernet?)

In 2018 we will look back and see the comments of (WTF, why do I need multi-touch?) and laugh at how naive we were.
