I noticed that too, he is what we call a "Harry high pants" or a "Tommy tuck in"

I always say "to each their own" but I have said to my kids if I ever start dressing like that or "god forbid" start having a comb over please tell me I look like a twit!

Hehehe yeah I know

Yeah, he's dressed worse than that...at least he was wearing shoes. One time he came with sandals and the high shorts. But seriously, he is a great lecturer and really knows his stuff...Except his tech...always struggles with the project and OHP combination.

What I thought was funny was how people actually laughed out loud when it BSOD'd

Well I've yet to come across a physicist who has any sense of fashion or style.

I remember visiting ANSTO once and one of the workers was talking about this one guy there who hadn't changed his style since the 1970s.

Great photo!

I haven't had any BSOD in any of my lectures but they quite often suffer from the normal Windows problems...

I have one lecturer who has a MacBook Pro and he has no idea about tech. His battery power setting must be really short because if he leaves it alone for too long (ie. carries on with a tangent like he does very often) the thing goes to sleep. This is usuall followed by him yelling at it telling it to 'wake up!'

Another guy I had once (guest lecturer), must have been 110 years old, and he obviously didn't know how to use a computer so the whole lecture was him putting hand written peices of paper up on the viewer...everytime he went to change slides this giant wrinkly old hand would come up on the wall swapping the pieces of paper....was quite the sight...
