I love the idea of the Optimus Maximus keyboard. Especially if it would change the display on the keys much like the on-screen keyboard viewer does when the Shift and Option keys are pressed. But ~$500 for a keyboard ... maybe after next tax return.

I have a set of TDK speakers that use similar NXT flat panels and have a small sub... and they sound amazing (mine are 2x 7w though).

I like the Tactus and the Sonicum speaker set, both look nice.
And who's Artemy Lebedev?

Those speakers. They look so cool.
I also like the clock. So natural.

Atomic on these forums is the distributor for the Maximus, if you want one. I believe he's posted elsewhere about the keyboard.

That keyboard is pure Star Trek, even more so than the iPhone.

Did you realise that $500 only gets you a keyboard with the space bar display only?
It actually costs around $1600 to have one with screens in all the keys.
And yes, the keys do update when modifier keys are pressed.

Love, love, love all the designs that come from Artemy Lebedev.
Maybe one day I'll get the alarm clock to replace my current one.

There's an Optimus Maximus for Buy it now @ $1999 on eBay at the moment.
I've wanted that alarm clock for a while now and have been contimplating getting the Optimus Mini for a while now but can't justify it yet.
