How come? you open ichat it logs into .mac, then into gateway (set it to pen on log in). Then you close your box and either open the All contacts box, or do what I do, use the widget.

I have more accounts, but with less windows. So that's more screen real estate, but also more usernames and passwords to remember.

Ok, it would appear that it isn't working after all. I'm still waiting for the registration to finish. And I have closed psi and tried again. And it's still not working.

I give up mate, I don't know what your doing wrong, I only need to open 1 chat program, ichat. I do not have msn or yhoo on my system, and PSI sits in the applications folder and is rarely opened.
icha opens on log in, I close the contact box and use the widget when I want to talk to someone. Wheres theb screen realestate being used?
1 user name/1 password.

Once more,
Open a New msn account. trash the rest. set up the msn transport and bring all yahoo/msn/gmail contacts online. then just use a .mac ID for ichat. too easy for words,
(The Free dotmac trial gives you an ichat ID which will last forever, even if you don't go ahead with the .mac account.)

Hmm... an issue with this transport that keeps occurring that I don't think should occur: Sometimes all my MSN friends will disappear from the convo list (as if they had all gone offline) and to fix it I have to log out and in again. Is this supposed to happen? Because it's getting rather annoying.

Hey is anyone else on msn.netlab.cz getting the same error message:
Failed to connect to MSN servers: [Failure instance: Traceback (failure with no frames): exceptions.Exception: Timeout
]
This is happening in iChat and Psi.. HELP! please :P

Interesting... was that all day for you? I emailed the admins at netlab.cz, and they told me to go fuck myself pretty much.. "DUUH ITS MSN, NOT JABBER!, WE ARE A JABBER SERVER" etc etc etc.. Yikes.. I need to find a new server quicksmart :P
