The trouble with "nah" is that the minimum message length requirement is 5 characters.

I would have said more about my experiences, but rrad didn't ask for that, just if it was possible to use. It is. Even the older RXT can be used with a Mac, but you have to use 3rd party tools instead of LEGO supplied ones.

Seeing as the mindstorm stuff is built on LabVIEW, which runs on OS X (in a limited sort of way), can you address the mindstorm devices from LabVIEW? We use LabVIEW a fair bit around our lab, so I was just wondering about picking up a kit for some relatively cheap sensor hardware. Anyone on mactalk tried this before?

I've used Mac OS X with our Mindstorms NXT almost exclusively since getting it. There are no problems writing the programs, sending them to the bot via bluetooth or doing anything much else.

The only annoying thing really is having an NXT folder in My Documents section...

So "Yeah." was a good, succinct answer. It works.

Ah, well I'm connected to a PPC mac. It may not be a universal binary. Have you tried downloading the latest version from http://mindstorms.lego.com?
