MSN

Edit: Although, strictly speaking, I use iChat with Google Talk and a Jabber-to-MSN transport.

You might have to make sure you use the right fingers... me and my friends use all the wrong fingers... just really fast :P

My wired keyboard's been delivered! (My house has no deliverable address, so it's shipped to Dad's office.) So excited!

I can type fast enough just that I would like to learn to touch type properly.

Here is a pic of my 24" iMac and the new keyboard, they match together nicely!!!

OMG CLICKY TYPING SPAM!

Result? Touch-typing at the tender age of 9, and a head filled with useless trivia knowledge!

Mine arrived this morning. I can tell already that it will be a better keyboard than the previous Apple keyboard, plus it looks really nice with my iMac.

Public holiday in Queensland and the courier depot is shut. Got a card in my letterbox last night but can't collect.

Darn! I ordered mine through NextByte so I'm just waiting on my phone call to go get it (when you work from home, sometimes you really *want* to walk an hour into the city for a keyboard).

Congrats! I really like the look of these new keyboards...the only problem I've got is they moved the USB ports back to the sides. Ah well *is over it* maybe I should use that HUB I bought instead...then again, the only reason I was still using USB port on my keyboard was because my old G4 PowerMac had hardly any USB ports, but when my Mac Pro arrived...*thinks out loud*

As long as you understand the basics - which fingers look after which keys etc - then as long as you keep using them in whatever work you are doing on the computer, you'll slowly get there as a touch typer...

I had 3-4 terms of "keyboard" classes when I was in high school - cos they were bludge classes but learned to type at around 90wpm, faster if I actually stop thinking about it.

Oh, and... SO JEALOUS! The new keyboards do look cool.... I know I wont be seeing one in my home any time soon tho.

I'm keeping a desperate ear out, looks like mine should be delivered today too! :P Gotta get a doorbell one day!
Oh, how about a doorbell that could pop up an alert on my mac? That would be sweet.
Did I just hear a truck? brb....

I'm pretty sure that Mac Pros still ship with the old INFERIOR white keybaord (which I'm currently typing on now) :P

Poor ol' grimey...soon to be obsolete (well, actually, soon to be tethered to the Wii for Internet use).

Question

Just wondering - are the new keyboards compatible with Windows XP (as in through Bootcamp or an actual PC box?) How will the new multimedia buttons work then?

Anyone willing to try it out ?
