Free Wi-Fi in Brisbane
Following on from decryption's thread about Sydney, I thought I would find out what people know about free wi-fi in Brisbane. I have checked out whirlpool and also some sites that claim to list hotspots (eg. jwire) but the results were pretty useless.
I know there is free wi-fi at the new State Library of Queensland across the river (used it the other day) and also free wi-fi at the Courts Complex in George Street. I also seem to recall someone mentioning here ages ago a coffee shop at Paddington that uses Macs and has free wi-fi.
Anywhere else?

I am going to Melb tonight, and will need access around the city tomorrow between meetings and shopping. maybe we need a thread that is a compilation of links to sites that keep track of free access locations, rather than trying to keep our own list.

the coffee shop in Elizabeth Arcade (Brisbane City) has free wifi access. I haven't used it but saw the sign when I bought a coffee the other day.

Is there any actual update to do date useful list of wi-fi access about? I've googled it recently, I've been thinking about putting a site together, so you can search for local access points, and see what providers networks are about, costs (or conditions like buy a cup of coffee)

the cibo on Queen St Mall (just outside Wintergarden Mall) has free wifi - pretty fast as well.
with the proliferation of touches and iPhones (soon) maybe it would be a good idea to put together one place (a sticky!?) where we can find all the free wifi locations based by State & city/suburb. Even looking on whirlpool wasn't very helpful, and the above site claims that there are only 9 free sites in Brisbane, which isn't right!!
