Default Recommendations on Colour Laser

Just wondering what people use here for a colour laser. Its for my work, which is a small business of 3 Macs. The printer must be networkable, but does not need to be ultra fast.

Any recommendations?

If you only need A4 size:
Xerox DocuPrint C525 printer - can be bought around $400:
http://www.xerox.com.au/products/printer/dpc525a

If you need A3 as well, have a look at the Xerox DocuPrint C3055DX for around $2,200:

(I just ordered one - so if you want a cheap 2nd hand A3 laser printer, cross the country and come and pick it up in Sunny QLD !!

Winthrop (Computer shop at UWA) have been clearing the Xerox C2535A for less than $1000. There is also a cashback on consumables if you trade in an old laser printer. We have just put one in at work and it appears to do everything that we need.

I've purchased a samsung clp 300n. Had it for about three weeks. works a treat and about the same footprint as my old mono laser. it was $380. The cartriges are simple to install. I would recommend a look.

Go for the Kyocera FS-c5025n, the lovely mactalk people in here put me onto it 4 months ago, mine has now produced over 5000 full color pages, and i have only just replaced the initial set up cartridges in the last 5 days, I can HIGHLY recommend this printer to you. YOU will never use another color printer again after using one of these .

PS to the Gurus is here, who told me to buy one of these , YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST

Um, Black was $110.00, and all the colored ones are 190.00, But each combination is good for 8000 pages, the RUN in catridges where stated at 4000 pages, and it was pretty darn close, i got 3889. So i am happy

if you compare that with a xerox, you will pay about 12.00 less per catridge, and recieve 4000 less pages for the saving.

Use there site as a way to see if you will save a buck http://www.kyocera.com.au/tco.asp

Just select the printer model you are interested in select how much you want to print and bingo it tells you if you will be in front or not

It's a Xerox DocuPrint C410: A3 (and A4) colour laser.

Haven't really looked around to see what others are getting for
this kind of 2nd hand printer, but my first thought would be around $400.

I'm on the Sunshine Coast as well (Caloundra).

I will be selling it once I get the new one delivered (next week).

Cien,
If Goodbye doesn't snap that up, let me know. We could do with a colour laser at work, and that doesn't sound too bad.

Dan...it's all yours

Edit: And is it just me, or are there a lot more Sunshine Coast MTAU'ers than I realised?

been through them all - OKI either c3300n or c3400n

I use the c3300n networked for 3 Macs - hasn't missed a beat.
superior to all the others I've tried - cheap to run.

starter toners say 500 page yield but I got 1000+ before replacing.

buy direct from Oki - comsumable too.

(got a kyocera FS-920 for all mono work - very cheap to run and fast & quiet to use)
