Hey,

Has anyone used a HP PSC1410 Multi function Printer. I'm thinking og getting one and there only $49.00 (after cashback) at the moment. I remeber a couple of years ago they were $200.00.

Anyone who has one or used one could you tell me what its like in terms of overall performance and quality.

Also if anyone knows of a good review on it could you give me the link.

Thanks

William

From my experience with it running off a PC
- Decent print quality, ok speeds
- Cartridges don't seem too expensive compared with some other HPs
- Fairly quiet printing, loud initial paper feed
- Fairly quick warmup time.

I just bought one for my father's Mac. The software which is on a dedicated OSX CD installed without a hitch and it seems to print well when i tested it, especially compared to his previous injet. I have not had a look at the software but will and will post back when I get a chance and detail its contents. My mother has had one for about 12 months, although hers has a pictbridge port, and she has never had any real problems with it on her Mac. My brother has on on his PC- again no problems.

Have you considered a cheap monochrome laser as well? The entry level price now appears to be around $130.
