I'm sorry but just that's rubbish advice; the OP wants to run a game which Parallels or Fusion does not do well; so I think Boot Camp has it's uses for things like these. Can you please make your posts a little more helpful?
Sims 3 needs a more powerful graphics chipset to run; it will not do so under a GMA950, which is why you're getting unusual graphic problems.

It lists GMA 3 and 4 series, which I assume means the GMA3100 and GMA4??? (a new chipset).
