Let NB diagnose your problem. They will fix it if it does what you say it does: lines, overheating, choppy video etc.

I have heard a lot about this yank, i dont get why he hasnt had his ass fired? Every time I go to the genius bar I get an email asking me to fill out a survey about my visit.
Why dont the people who get stuck with that asshole point out in the survey that he is horrible?

This "arrogant yank" person, does his name start with a "J" and end with "ames"? I spoke to such a person recently at the Genius Bar and he wouldn't fix a problem with my Apple notebook, so I took it to NextByte the following day and they took one look and said yes it's covered and fixed it for me...

well i went to DJS today and they have the new AIR- complete with the lines issues reported above - looks like apple are just hoping 90% of people dont notice if they brought out a new model with the same issue - does anyone have an email address of anyone in apple australia i can point this out too

thanks

Mate, hope it all turns out and you can claim it off your warranty.

I've had no problems with my rev A (yet) - touch wood!

nextbyte rang today (i must say they have been FANTASTIC HELP) apple sent out the new logic board and screen - dead logic board. rang apple customer relations spoke to 5 different people in the end in singapore and finally agreed to a replacement. this is good news after 4 weeks but i just hope the replacements screen isnt too bad after what ive read on macrumors forums the rev c has issues so im just going to live with it if its a minor affected one.

the other question is if i paid $3999 for this in december and the new model is $2799 i assume apple arnt going to give me a credit? anyone have this situation before?

many thanks

Was just recently in this situation. Apple will not refund you the money as they are replacing your machine like for like with a new one. I say consider yourself lucky to be getting a Rev. C.
The whole replacement process was also subject to NDA which I found a little odd.
