Default Now available: Mini DisplayPort to HDMI

Available in the US only at this stage, but I'm sure this will trickle into Australia soon
Third-party Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter available | Displays | MacUser | Macworld

I have seen so many forum posts here and elsewhere about this, thought this would help

is there such a thing as an hmdi > rca adapter? curious..

I bought mine on eBay for $15 or something. Works fine. It even has "Designed by Apple in California" written on it, just in case people buying cheap cables from eBay want to pretend they were made by a particular manufacturer.

Nope, it's a very different signal. You need a scan converter which goes from VGA -> composite.
