Best place to sell my MacBook

I have a white Apple MacBook for sale. It's less than one year old with no damage. Normal wear and tear (scratches on glossy top...just like a used IPod screen). I have kept it in great condition and still has 2 months on warranty. It will come with all original packaging and contents along with a thin neoprene case.

Where is the best place to sell my MacBook? I tried craigslist...but nothing. Any information would help out a lot.

Judging by your location , it would be more difficult to transact a sale to Australian members here but not entirely impossible.

I think Taezar just meant that this is an Aussie Mac community, so most people expect to be buy items from the For Sale section of the forums that actually reside in Australia. Postage costs would be pretty massive coming from America, not to mention the current exchange rate. That said, you could always try. You also need to be a regular to post in the For Sale section anyway.

As for your other options, try a community trade paper, or other online auction sites (there are alternatives to Ebay). Otherwise, there are US Mac forums/communities.

Fleabay is dodgy at the best of times, if you want to get scammed.

I guess its alright if you take things carefully and avoid 'too good to be true' offers.

I have over 250 transactions on ebay and my other half has over 400 and neither of us have ever had any real issues.

It's more about how one uses ebay and the precautions one takes than anything else.

I'm not sure about the US, but if you want the highest prices go to eBay. (At least AU has highest Mac prices around)
