Thanks--I did make it.

I've also made a pong one. I think pacman or frogger will be next.

Oh. How much for the tabletop? I'm not that desperate to get one, but I am curious!

I would support the Capital cities as a first, and then move into supporting all radar sites on the BOM website.
That's pretty literal.

They're looking great.

I prefer the white fortune to the black.

way ahead of you
it wont be easy though
i need to wait for the release of tiger to do it.
i have to learn how to escape characters for it to work.
but i do have a applescript to add eyetv event so its just a matter of patching it in
Hey islayer,

Any chance you have checked out ITVeye? This uses the yahoo tv guide, which has an Australian equivalent <http://au.tv.yahoo.com/>. The guy who wrote ITVeye says it is just a browser, which I guess would have the same applecripts you have to make EyeTV record. Is this similar to what you are doing with the tv guide widget?

no i havent.
i have an applescript already to add programs to the eyetv scheduling app but i have to intergrate it into the widget which is not easy to do.
there are ways to do it from safari but its alot easier there because you have to be on the actual page for that show where as mine will show multiple shows so i havwe to make it so you can select which ones to add

The EyeTV project might be easier with a full AppleScript Studio app. I'm figuring showing a full guide for the next 6 hours might take up a fair amount of screen real estate, which would kind of miss the point of a widget :-) Is it easy with Applescript to rip tv data?

But how big would the widget have to be? At the moment, you widget shows the next three shows. What if I wanted to see what was coming up in three days time, to set a recording? Would it be possible to move that far forward, or will it only show the next three shows?

Not being picky at all (I think your widgets are fantastic!) but I have been searching for the Holy Grail of Eyetv programming in Australia for years!
