Ripping DVD to Hardrive (dvd quality)
Ok,

looking for a simple answer to this i hope..

I got some DVDs i want to rip to my new MacBookPro.
Yet, regardless of size, i want them to be ripped into near DVD quality. Ive tried handbrake, mac-the-ripper ect...and these just lose so much quality. WHen played in full screen they are just a joke really.... Is it possible to replicate the quality of a dvd into an mpeg or divx file? And if so, what is the right program to do so.

I'd be stoked with any help?

the problem is that the dvd quality is less then your mpb. ripped or unripped they look like shit on todays tvs and monitors -hence bluray. MTR does ripp without loss of quaility, its just dvds were meant for the old crt tvs

oooookay..

so when i play it on the mpb it looks pretty sweet, but theres no way to rip it and have that same quality in playback?
