The last one i had used a pointer on the bar to tell me how far into my billing period i was, and compared that with the cap usage to colour the bar to show usage relative to the current point of the month to indicate wether to slow down to remain uncapped - does your widget do this?

No readme yet, just packaged it up... Probably do something soon to make it all a bit more professional and complete.
For the billing period indicator: Not yet... But I'm working on it.

Hope you don't mind that i had a looksee with Dashcode (it is hard for me being that i know minimal JS but am a bit handy with PHP, weird huh :P)
Looking at it all you would need to do is at a pointer on the rim of the guage (sorta like the locking mechanisms on the stargate) that rotates around corresponding to the point in the month and the code seems to be nicely done - to someone who could code JS i'm sure it would be quite easy.

Bearing in mind, I just took the code from Troy Dack's OS X version of the Konfabulator widget and moved the code around a little. I'll have a look at the inner workings of the gauge and see if I can whip something up on the weekend or something.

Yeah my old one is based off a Konfabulator widget, not sure if it is the same one you're talking about because yours looks totally different.

You'll want to use this widget instead: it has been updated to work with Bigpond's changes

I've updated the code for the BP Usage Widget, and it now works correctly (old billing system), on the:
60 gb
25 gb
12 gb
600 mb
400 mb
200 mb plans
If you're interesting in trialing it, PM me. Have a few ideas about enhancing it as well.
Cheers
MacPomme
PS: This is Luke Lehsntein's widget not mine. I've emailed all the modified code back to him.
