not so much a great picture as a somewhat interesting one.

Taken at 2:20AM this morning under the full moon - six photos stitched together, each a 15s exposure.

Great photos in here guys.. Wow you're all such a talented bunch. I uploaded mine recently to deviantart.

Just out of interest - why do my pics look like they have the gamma I want on them on the mac, but when I view it from a PC (w2K work computer) they are waaay too dark. Should I just adjust the pics up in gamma?

That's because Windows has a different Gamma to Mac which is 1.8.
You should adjust them to 2.2 for display in Windows..

I'd make copies for the Windows machine.. keep the originals intact.

Anyway you can adjust the gamma of your Mac screen to Windows Gamma to check them and remember to switch the gamma back for normal use.

Thanks.

I will keep the original intact but I just uploaded the high gamma ones to DA because most people are windows users.

I'll hunt around the control panel tonight to switch my mac.. Thanks.

I'm looking forward to creating a multi-page site with iWeb when I get it, but in the meantime, if anyone is interested, here's my old homepage for some personal photography. Shots are in Australia and around the world, most in B&W and all using 'real' film!

Sensational NYC shots bigboyrock.. I thought i'd done alright on my recent trip there, but these are exceptional. B&W makes the snow shots even better - I might look mat editing a few of mine like that.

Thanks Spargo, NYC is the kind of place that inspires B&W for me. I also like to get out to the down and dirty places, hence getting into some dangerous territory in Harlem. I'd like to see yours if you have them on a site.

Just had a look at your site, didn't realise you were in London (my home town although I live in Oz now). Hope to see more of your New York shots. Grand Central station is a great place for B&W, have you tried changing the colour to see how yours look?

BTW, jumping into cold lakes in Scotland makes me wonder about your sanity! ;-)

Hope Fulham doesn't mean any associatiion with Stamford Bridge.:-)
