The widget has now stopped working for me! It previously worked fine.
For the last week or so I was running v0.22 and everytime I put my postcode in and click done it crashes and a message "The application Movies australia DashboardClient quit unexpectedly. Mac OS X and other applications are not affected. Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more details or send a report to Apple." is displayed.
I have upgraded to 0.23 and it still happens. Rebooting the computer etc makes no difference, essentially it's dead everytime I run it.
Anyone know what's going on?

Working like a treat now hamlynt, cheers
I'm not sure what the problems might be for the other guys.
What happens when you trash everything in dashboard client and reboot/logout then login?
(User/library/caches/DashboardClient)
>> This is handy to anyway every so often to improve dashboard load times. Has no adverse side effects that i know of.

howdy,
love the widget and use it all the time. But since I upgraded to a Macbook a week ago the widget seems to crash when I go to Greater Union Marion (in Adelaide).
Just thought I'd mention it.

I'd first suggest the uninstall-delete prefs-reinstall routine. Can any others report success/failure with the widget on a Macbook.

Yup, Macbook, Marion Megaplex, crashes, will try to uninstall and re-install.
Edit: Nup, re-install, same outcome, the error 'Dashboard widget quit unexpectedly'

I just tested postcode 5043 on my current model MacBook Pro...
and then tried to select Greater Union Marion...
and it crashed on me too.

If the problem is only with Marion Megaplex, its probably some odd html on the webpage that the widget can't parse correctly. Probably just a coding error on the Yahoo Movies website which hopefully will prove temporary.

Dunno if it's just coincidence but it doesn't seem to work anymore since I installed Leopard...

Leopard did break quite a few widgets due to some changes on Apple's part. Could be that.

An alternative, if just tracking one cinema. Go to http://au.movies.yahoo.com/Screening...s/?cl=1&s=2000
Then use Safari clipping to create a Dashboard widget.
Can change postcode to something else.
