I still only get todays or in the arvo tomorrows & todays forcast, the rest are just blank, can you help me with this, or look into it for the next version, thanx!
- Ben
I think it depends on what City/Suburb you have it set to. the Bureau of Meteorology only does full weekly forecasts for the major cities, for smaller towns/suburbs it gives the following day's forecast.

The updated version is much cleaner. Thanks for the effort.

Minor update
- Code changes to allow multiple instances (Good idea cMac!)
- Minor change to forecast timestamp (now shows minutes up to 59 then flips over to hours)
As usual get the update here.

Grabbed the latest version thanks.

Any chance you can have a look at adding ACT?
Seeing Canberra NSW across the top of the widget just doesn't look right!

DJY, fair point. But you might have to take it up with the Bureau of Meteorology, as they don't provide a separate set of forecasts for ACT

One option is to hide the state altogether, but this depends on how much value people place on seeing the state as well as the location. Maybe not much?

Thanks for the widget. Got it to work beautifully at home but having trouble with it at workplace.

I think it is not happy with the proxy at work even though the settings are all in place and other widgets can get through. Maybe something to do with what ports it is using.

mwidjaya, 2 things to try:
- The widget uses curl to grab forecasts, so you may need to create a separate rule in your firewall to allow curl internet access.
- If it's still a problem, try working around the proxy by adding this to the curl statements in the widget (lines 133 and 217 of WeatherAustralia.js):
Code:
-U user:passwd -x my-proxy:888
where user and passwd are your proxy user and password, and my-proxy:888 is the proxy address and port.

hamlynt, thanks for replying with a suggestion for workaround. Much appreciated. Will try out in the office on Mon and let you know how it goes.

mate, just tried the latest version in 10.4.3 - it's not working at all for me. am I missing something? it gets a curl process happening that takes up all my cpu indefinitely... I have to force quit it from activity monitor (after having deleted it).

for what it's worth, it's not letting me pick a location after I pick a state... maybe this is what curl is trying to do.

hope you work it out soon. all the best.

Anyone else having problems? If curl is stalling then try checking your firewall/router settings?

Excellent work! I really like the new weather icons. Feel like having a go at the much desired cricket scores widget?

Hey mate

Looks good - I'm glad you added icons!
I was almost going to swap over to Weather4Oz - but that one is a bit too bright, larger, and doesn't look as good with my other widgets.

Tried the BBC Weather one - but it didn't seem to get its data from BOM.

Thanks!

I like it! The new look is great, it fits in well with the rest of my dashboard now.

Thanks for being so dedicated to the development of this widget, we are all in your debt!
