So what will it be?
I don't have a clue about the actual dollars ($200 million profit?), but I am more interested in what else they might announce. Here is a few of my predictions of things of interest to me:
- 19 million ipods sold;
- more than one million laptops sold;
- a special event for early February "showtime 2" that will announce more movies and release a widescreen video ipod that operates the same way as the iphone;
- a release date for leopard OSX 10.5
Any other suggestions?

There is
absolutely no way they are going to release a widescreen touch operated iPod before June.
It will cannibalise iPhone sales...
Apple's priority for the next 2 years is all about the iPhone... Steve wants 1% market share... and by god he will do what he has to to achieve it.
