Default Facebook Quiz Blocker
After finally cracking the shits with the amount of useless junk clogging up my Facebook newsfeed I hunted out a way to block those stupid quizzes which are the current flavour of the month.

After trying initially to use Facebook's built-in 'hide' function I realised it was pointless because each Quiz was counted as a separate application. Blast! After practising some Google-Fu I came across this:

One-Click Quiz Blocker on Facebook

This application runs on Facebook in conjunction with a bookmarklet. You can now decimate ALL quizzes visible on your homepage with two clicks - one to launch the bookmarklet, one to submit the action. You can even select to "hide" rather than "block" in case you ever suffer a brain lesion and decide you want to fill out one of the quizzes yourself.

This little gem has brought me such cathartic pleasure throughout the day and its quickly spread through my Twitter and Facebook buddies. Thought I'd share the love here too, cause that's just how much I love you guys.

Use a real web browser, Firefox
Install the the Greasemonkey add-on
Install the Facebook Purity GreaseMonkey script
