Be nice for them to concentrate on something that isn't a phone or an ipod for a little while!

New MacBook Pro rev and a price drop would be well received considering i'm going to buy one next year! guess we'll just have to wait and see, as usual.

In my view there is nothing wrong with the current macbook pros. They look great the way they are. It the macbook and the air i think they should really work on.

No magnetic latch?
Wider trackpad?
Old style keyboard?
Non-easily replaceable hard drive?
Non-easily replaceable memory (debatable)?

There you go. It's obvious that the MacBook Pros need a fresh design. I say it will be more in line with the MBA in terms of looks/style.

MacBooks - I think they will go aluminium - as their whole "computing" line transfers to a metal enclosure. But I think they will retain aluminium or white coloured character keys - to differentiate the MBA and MBP.

I have impartial feelings about the iPod range. Yeah, how thin can they go? How many different revisions to do the poor mini/nano range have to endure? They look like they are trying to fit into the iPod family, but failing miserably. I kinda think they are like Marcia Brady.

I think they will be a new product. That will get MacWorld buzzing as it's unveiled. Something completely left-field. Probably another niche product like the MBA and AppleTV was.

When Steve said it would be a big year, he meant it. There will be a few more things to drool over, but in the next Macworld jan 2009 everybody can scream at once. MacBook Touch

Well with all this talk of new products I am afraid that MacWorld 09 is just going to be a review of '08, and more of a preview of Snow Leopard.

What about WWDC '09 if Snow Leopard is previewed at MacWorld 2009?

Whilst I love my 15 MBP... I'm hoping they upgrade the MBA.

I'm considering buying one now that I seem to be doing ridiculous amounts of travel!
