Mind, u, I cant see over 1k of people visiting today, its hardly got any press, and well, lets face it, the amount of interest here isnt exactly bringing the house down.

there's a few people here. The clapping and cheering has finished but they still have shirts. There may be a rush later this afternoon. They might get to 1 k by cob

Nice store. For only a mall store they seemed to have a colossal number of staff. Dozens ran along the queue doing the usual hi-fives.

Oh well, that's my first opening. Kinda weird in a way. I've been a Mac nut since the early 90's but even I got a little weirded out by the glazed eyed kool aid drunk staff.

What a pitiful opening not even one picture on MacTalk and its after lunch time.

You can see the staff on the right hand side cheering customers as they enter the store. There's even a high-five going on.

So I took the family along and we all got our t-shirts at around 10:30am.

Got to play with the table full of iPhones, I even used one to take this pic of Mr 11, now a veteran of Apple store openings

Pretty cool store. I went in for the 9am opening and was in the store at about 9:10. Great little setup. Ended up grabbing a 16gb Black iPhone on the $29 Optus YES plan. very sexy device and im happy to finally have one. A great store in a pretty good area. I think Hornsby or St Ives would be a good place for a apple store personally. And why would you put on in Parramatta? No offence but that place is a hole full of dole bludgers.

Just so you know, the computers in those Apple Stores have some really nice alarms going, I accidentally set one off at the Sydney store cause someone was standing in the way so I pulled the MacBook over towards me but according to the staff member some of the cords had been tangled which caused the alarm to go off because they normally can move around a bit.

I went this arvo but missed out on the t-shirts. Geeze the place was packed. Lots of staff from the Apple Grand Cathedral place of Worship (as I like to call it) in the city.

Good to see soo many peeps now into Macs, but well to be honest, I dont feel special anymore. All those PC users who used to make fun of us all for using Macs, and tell us on a monthly basis that Apple are gonna go out of business, are the very people now clamoring to get their hands on all things Apple.

Oh, well, 'World Domination' is getting closer and closer .
