But I think they will definitely come down in price once the new edition of the MB/MBP comes out later this year. So wait a bit more!
We are talking Mac Pro, not MacBook Pro.

Glancing over the prices, I didn't see any changes. What's new?

here's another free bump, but if you actually call apple and ask about the refurbished macs they can give you up-to-date stocks: for instance i got a 13" 2.16 2gig ram BlackBook for $1300 because nobody had bought it and it had been sitting there.

lesson number 1: do not be afraid to call them.
lesson number 2: be in the right place at the right time.

but again, give them a call and ask what stocks they have available and for what price, they're super helpful.

The 80GB iPod Classic (Black or Silver) is now only $229. So cheap!

I am not sure if i should be posting this in this thread and if people know about this, but new ipods are expected mid September, so that's probably the reason for the cheap ipods.

Im guessing that there is no problem with the refurbed units? That MBA looks mighty tempting as I need a new notebook for Uni...

No problem at all with refurbs.

As new. Identical to new. May come in non-original packaging (box) but that's not a big deal. Worth the saving.

That or the fact that it is a Refurbished Model

Sweet as, thanks for the info Huy. So if the box is the only thing that is missing and warrants a saving of $500-ish, I think I'll take it lol.

Yeah but there is also the chance that you may get original (sealed) packaging/box, which will be exactly the same as new.

It is worth the $500 odd saving. Spend that money on AppleCare, accessories/cases, etc.

I wonder if we'll ever see unlocked refurbed iphones in the refurb store. It'd make sense that it will happen eventually.

I doubt it, I'd think that refurbished units would go back to the carriers that sent them in.
