Well my Al imac is my 4th mac (first one was in 1995) and I have never owned a Win machine, but I love the convienience of being able to fire up windows if I have to - rather than using someone elses machine.
I think i have done it less than a dozen times since i got my imac - Etax, setting up a USB stick with portable firefox and thunderbird, the occasional game, the occasional windows only mobile phone SW.. so good to be able to do all this on MY imac, without wondering what hidden malware is on someone else's windows PC. Dont do it unless I absolutely have to, but merely being ABLE to makes me happy.

I went from Xp to Ubuntu 7.04 to OSX 10.4 to OSX 10.5 to Ubuntu 7.10 and then to Vista.
Overall I found Vista post SP1 to just work and be rock stable compared to the other OSs, giving me an overall better experience. My E1705 laptop now sleeps successfully and has been doing so for about a month.
My Mac mini is now just an OSXBMC machine in the living room, playing media.
I didn't shake the addiction to windows as it works best with my collection of hardware and needs, the other two were fun but couldn't compete.

I have Windows mainly for gaming and in virtual machines for some of the corporate apps that either have no Mac equiv or the equiv is really bad.

I'm more of a Wii / X360 gamer than a windows gamer, but I need to keep Windows around for MS Access (for work) and for some other small windows-only apps (like eTax).

They're the reasons I have Windows still.

I got a new Asus EEEPC 1000H the other day for mainly work, if only Apple sold something like that.
I do have to use XP for work with some diagnostic programs, but mostly can get by with Mac OS if I'm working from home. I'm gunning for a macbook next time around and to see if they will roll out iphones as well.

Completely the same. Only use XP for a game or two then reboot into OS X.

On the MacBook we have VirtualBox for the gf's uni course. I have full versions of XP and Parallels that I keep meaning to put on the Mini, but to my surprise I haven't needed to yet. I have an HP laptop for work (running XP) but the plan is to get a MacBook/Pro, which I'll need to have Windows on in some form or other. But I need to get with the convincing of the IT gurus first

haven't looked to get MS crap on the new MacBook yet - and hope never have to,
but sadly have to struggle with Windows 2003 server at workplaces
the iBook & iMac have Office 2004 & Virtual PC but once I try Pages some more they will go.
(Keynote is already in use)

I have to agree with Anthony on this one!
My MacBook runs windows to use Quickbooks and I have a few clients that use Windows for their everyday work (Simply because they are used to it, I'd switch them over if they were looking at overhauling the entire computer situation, it'd be messy but much less hassle for them and for me)
I need to test stuff somewhere before its rolled out to clients.

I'm stuck using Windows more often than 1999(VirtualPC) and software companies telling Intel Mac owners to Boot Camp than wait/hope for a Mac version isn't helping the situation. Quicken on the Mac is awful compared to the Windows version, the gap of bank/broker support and features pushed me to Windows. My bank has been offering direct connect via Quicken for Windows since 2002 yet still no Mac version direct connect support(manually downloading QIFs are a pain)
Boot Camp wouldn't help my workflow, so I stick with Parallels or use Remote Desktop to access my Thinkpad or newly built Quad-Core AMD box(Vista Business x64-license from MSDN). At least MS offers a Mac version of Remote Desktop, I don't have room for a 2nd keyboard at my desk
Rough break down as of mid-2008:
(1998-2002 I was up to 70% on a Mac for home & work usage)
Sun Solaris= 20%
OS X= 40%
Windows XP= 40% (excluding gaming)
