CompNow Apple Premier Reseller
hey, just wondering, anyone here bought their apple machines from CompNow?
I have checked their website, free training and free six month subscription too!
Are they having a good customer service?

We got our iMac from there, and they're great!
The Macworld subscription is really useful, just remember to go to the website to confirm the subscription.
We also got our Leopard from the Malvern Store, and it's probably the closest to an Apple Store I can imagine.
Funtastic!

Streetwise is infinitely better than Computers Now. Streetwise offers free training anyway. Although, if the six month MacWorld subscription entices you, go for it.

I've bought my past three Macs from CompNow (helps having it in the same building I work in!) and I used to work for them about 2 years ago now.
I like CompNow

Well done! Good to see someone's taking the plunge. It seems like everyone's half waiting for something, and then they end up just buying the Mac. Then it's updated the next month...

Computers Now seemed good for me when I bought my Mac. I'd have no problem going back to them, as I already have for a couple of other purchases.
My only complaint is their web site is hopeless for when you want to do a search on anything. Can't have everything I suppose.
They do have free training at Malvern although it's out of the way for me to get there. The store in Chadstone is right near a food court

I'm a fan of Streetwise but the training leaves a lot to be desired.

Slightly off topic but I heard a rumour that Next Byte (or is that Next Borg) tried to take over another reseller, this time My Mac but couldn't pull it together. On the other hand I hear My Mac instead plans to expand to 3 locations sometime soon ... interesting!

I bought a refurbished MacBook from Computers Now last year and had to take it in for repair - under warranty. After almost 3 months I finally got it fixed - under warranty.
Took it back 2 weeks ago to get the Airport card replaced and that only took 2 days.
Overall, I have to say that their follow-up service is pretty decent. They definitely went out of their way to help me get my MacBook fixed, but it was just the time involved that was an issue.
