Brand New MBP.. Battery wont release
Hi guys... much to my delight my brand new 2.5ghz Macbook Pro arrived today. I had ordered a 4gb RAM kit from RamCity but im unable to get the battery out using the slidey things. Should i prop open the battery thing with a knife or call apple? its brand new and im too eager to spread its legs

My battery is a bit tight too. I sometimes have to gently pry it out.

I suggest you use something non-metallic if possible and go very easy. Don't want to scratch that lovely new machine!
