How early should I line up for the keynote?

I'm after some Macworld advice.

I'm heading off to Macworld in the US next week, and am wondering how early I should line up to get into the keynote? Anyone been before who can give me some advice from there experience?

The keynote starts at 9am on Tuesday (San Francisco time). I have a Users Conference ticket. That ticket allows me access to the keynote, but doesn't guarantee me a seat. Consequently I need to be there early enough to make sure I get one. I was thinking 6am? Is this too early, or not early enough?

I read it was pretty early. I did some googling. One blogger reported last year that 6:15am left him in the overflow room. Apparently people get there from really early (3am?). Another poster suggested 4-5am if you dont have a Super or Platnium pass. Its apparently pretty cold at those times in SF's winter.

Personally if this was a one off opportunity for me, I would figure out exactly where I needed to que and rock up before 5am dressed for the elements.

You lucky man!

I'd get there very early reading aswitchers post - and why not - it might be nice to relish in the atmosphere of it all. I suspect we are all going to be in for a very exciting macworld.
