With a store like this I'm sure the switches it will generate will be exponential hence making the Mac the premium computer choice for consumers.
Tourism Australia: Visit Sydney for the Harbour bridge, Opera house and Apple Store!

I just did a run out there, and yes, all the black drapes are going back up.
Only the middle hadn't been done when I took my pics.
I also did a quick Wi-Fi scan on my iPhone and noted it's on and unsecured.
But, I could not get onto the net.
Store pics here (not as good as the others though):
Apple logo
Apple logo & iPod banners
Apple store front shot, with most of the Black drapes up again.

Even though the levels are not as deep as I imagined its still a hell of a lot bigger than the NYC store . I think that in its self is pretty amazing.

Just went by, it's really amazing in person, minus the milkshake someone had chucked at it.

Nothing says 'welcome to Australia' like a milkshake attack.

Jobs flying out for opening?
It might be worth someone keeping an eye out at Sydney airport. Jobs' Gulfstream jet has the rego number N2N...

I'm a bit undecided about whether to go or not now that I've seen inside. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the insides - looks great! - I just mean there won't really be any surprises... Unless Mr Jobs were to turn up of course.

Covers are back up now. All you can see is 8 imacs (4 on either side of the front door).

I think that's they're the checkouts, you can see Eftpos machines (or what looks like them) sitting next to them.
