I got my new iMac a couple of weeks ago, and have finally taken some photos. Unfortunately the layout of my study made it a bit awkward to get a good shot.

Here is a close-up of the iMac on the desk:

This one is a badly stitched together series of photos showing more of the study and the other systems:

And finally, a diagram of what is actually there:

Here's my setup. The photo was taken about 5 months ago, so it's not that recent. Not much has changed though.

Seeing all of these photographs by Mac fanatics, makes me wonder if people who are similarly absorbed and obsessed with their power tools, show each other photographs of their shed set-ups.

And do fanatical gardeners have web sites displaying how they store their motor mowers, leaf blowers, rakes, shovels, and spraying equipment etc?
[/b]
I use Metabo power tools, but don't post photos of them on the internet, though I have taken photos of them - for stock, not pleasure!

The Land Rover forums I visit post photos of their Land Rover setups.

I think that most people post a photo of their setup so they can brag about what they have. Though I think that for some it's not about bragging, but giving a idea of who they are/what they do - at least that's why I do it.

Edit: This is my hundredth post! Cool

im surprised you havent stuck the printer onto the USB port of the airport express and then had shared printing.

also samual clark, id put your display on top of a few phone books. apple displays are sexy, but they are too low, and back problems ensue. i have a fellowes stand and its got enough rise to bring my 20" LCD up to a comfortable height.

Ill agree with that point!

i got 2x phonebooks under my 20" Cinema Display and my airport extreme box (the apple shipping one) has my 17" CRT on it

Couldn't help put notice the cat sitting near your iMac! How cute

Did you make him/her face different directions for each pic?!

The towel was the only solution I could come up with to keep him off my lap when I'm trying to do stuff

When I'm up in my study he lives on that towel, and probably only gets up to turn around twice a day!

I finally got around to cleaning my desk, so I may as well post some photos. Note the painting in the last photo is by me. There are also normally awards or something on the spare hooks in that photo.

Questions? Comments?

..Anyone who can guess what the little white zip packages are in the 2nd photo gets a (virtual) prize. :P
