Thanks.

Dunno - was a present - I really wouldn't know where to start.

Most of my kiss gear actually ISN'T in that photo... I'm a bit of a tragic

(went to NZ in March to see them, too)

Quite the ghetto setup compared to some others here.
Big ol' desk from auction, mismatched screens and input devices, full size ATX tower case.

Hate phone cameras.. but here's a re-shuffle of stuff on my new desk, to add a bit more of a "yeah.. that's different" approach to my studio.

Slightly better quality (at least non-phone)

They are Acer 24".

I am actually thinking of selling them as I have to make room for my PC on the desk as well. I am planing on going a single 30" so I can fit it all on the desk.

i am abou to buy some new screens aswell.. not sure if 2 x 24 " is overkill for my desk when i measure it up i see that its pretty damn huge.. do you think 1 x 30 is better ? or running 2 x 24's

I've got dual 24" Apple Cinemas, and its a lot of desktop, thats for sure. I work as a developer so having enough space for plenty of terminals and editors is important

Have never used a 30" except for a few minutes in Myer so its hard to compare, but it's not as many physical pixels as 2 x 24" screens.

You mean 23" ACDs.

They don't make 24" ACDs.

Here is a pic i took today of my latest setup, just had the shelfs modified as they were sitting too low to sit the dell at a comfortable height. Just spent the weekend installing the lights and painting the room and just moving all my crap back in now.

I think if you can fit 2x24" you will find it better to work on as you do technically have a larger screen as a whole as well as being able to have a movie run on 1 and work on the other!

I think I will sell my 2, 24" only as I have had to make some changes to my house layout which means I now have my PC on the desk as well. I have 1x24" Dell screen I had for the PC setup on the desk now what is good only as it works nice to switch between the Apple and the PC now.

I say if you can fit 2x24" you will love it more then having just 1 30" screen.
