Every now and then I catch this thread and look over people's office setups etc.. It always inspires me to clean up the dump of an office room I have, so today (post clean up) I thought I would post my setup.

Click the image to open in full size.
This is the office, two Macbooks (Black & White of equal spec), PC (in the corner) and a Roland X8 with Roland Monitors connected to airtunes for sound. My Cable management leaves something to be desired still..!

Click the image to open in full size.
Next is the new baby of the family, the MacMini Media Monster! - it feeds into the Onkyo as does the Wii and then through to Acer projector and onto the 3.2m screen as shown below.

Click the image to open in full size.
Add popcorn & bottle of wine and I'm set!

Thanks for the cleaning inspiration guys.

This topic has inspired me to clean up my desk, and re-arrange a few things...

here goes nothing... oh yer, before and after pics will be posted

Damn this is cool.
I've screwed screws () into the back of my desk, and have no mounted my Logitech Z-340 speakers just under the highest board. Meanwhile, I'm actually sorting through all the crap that has resided in my desk since I put it there.

It's almost done, so I should have pictures online later tonight

I hate dust. It's so annoying.
Just a tip for everyone, when dusting, work from the top DOWNWARDS... and move the White macbook away from the room you're dusting...

No I'm not that stupid... and I'm not implying you are either... It's all how you read the tip

EDIT: Damn this site is ultra-quick...

So is that a painted white square on the wall or a pull down screen or is the entire wall one colour and the projector was just projecting a white image? I cant quite tell.

Looks like a white piece of paper stuck to the wall...for the projector to shine on it.

It's painted with a special reflective surface paint. Just looks like a big white square on the wall, but it looks kind of like some minimalist art work during the day! The opposite wall has a cabinet with the projector in it.

I'm pretty happy with the setup, Have just got 5.1ch surround running through the mini with a toslink cable into my onkyp receiver. It Rocks!

Widescreen projects onto it also, just shows a black top and bottom band! Seriously!
We also play Wii on it, which isn't widescreen, so it's designed for adaptability!

The windows can be a little distracting, but I'm kind of used to it now. I have blinds that I put down sometimes. I can't watch it in the daylight though. the projector is only 1200 Lumens, the next step is a better FullHD 2000+ Lumens projector. Doing the research on it now.

What it looks like watching NCIS now.
