seems like you could use a cleaner or two to give that place a good scrub. Very cool effect though!

The black hole in the center of the floor is for guests who object to my smoking.

If a computer taking in diluted cigarette smoke that ends up looking like that isn't a warning of what is happening inside the lungs that are inhaling the concentrated stuff - I don't know what is.
Anyways... nice QTVR spectre, how'd you do it?

With Stitcher - http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/11594
I just used a conventional tripod and did three 360° pans at different levels taking about 15 pictures each pan. Stitcher automagically puts them all together.
To really do it correctly though, one needs something like this: http://www.nodalninja.com/

Yeah, the Cube runs us.madchat.tv (one of the irc.madchat.tv IRC servers.)
The G5 is a DP 2.7 with 8 GB RAM
One QuickSilver is a DP 800. It'srunning Ubuntu Linux
The other is a single 867. I sold it about a week ago.
The Sawtooth is a G4 1.2 GHZ now. It's running Debian Linux
The laptop (which is really hard to see there) is a Pismo 400 dual booting Tiger Server and Debian Linux
In the rack are two Xserves: A DP 2.0 with 8 GB RAM (which is my main web/mail server and a single 2.0 GHZ with 4.5 GB RAM. It's primarily a backup server and I don't run it often. When I do, I stream QuickTime from it.
On top of the rack are two Belkin 1500 VA UPS's and two Sophisticated Circuits PowerKey Pro's for remote administration of power - http://www.sophisticated.com/product...y/pkp_650.html
On the desk to the right of the G5 DP 2.7 are 5 x 250 GB Western Digital Lighted Drives and 1 x 120 GB Lighted Drive - http://www.westerndigital.com/en/pro...Legacy.asp?r=5
Beneath the right portion of the desk is a JVC 17" HDTV and behind it are three modems: T1, ADSL and Cable.
And so on....There's a mini and two PC's in the bedroom and a couple of printers.
This dinky Canon printer is a neat toy - http://www.zarabeth.com/temp/canon_printer.mpg (2.2 Mb)
Most importantly, there are three hamsters: Two dwarf males and a full sized female named Emmalina. =)

http://www.zarabeth.com/temp/dwarves...ness_5.6mb.mov (5.6 Mb)

Everybody give up,
This is without a doubt the best setup. Could'nt give a rats arse about the hardware, but where it lives is a great location.
F__King Neat.

The desk is basically a bench I had made at a kitchen company, and is fixed directly to the wall. Along the back (just inside the opening at the back of the desk) and middle is a right angle piece of metal with holes in it to prevent it from developing a woop in it. At the back, i threaded some velcro cable straps though the holes and ran the cables up behind it.

A New Toy
BTW, notice how CLEAN my G5 is now after being windexed. =)
The toy is an IBM self-powered USB floppy drive which I'll need from time to time when working on older macs;e.g., Transferring files on floppy to CD, transferring files from ancient Macs to newly purchased ones, etc.
