I'd guess G3 iMac. Do you know how many of those things there are sitting around, unused? Anyone who was anyone had to get a G3 iMac just to be cool back when they were released.

There was alot of those particular G3 imacs around but I also see many many white ibooks. Admittedly they're not the same.

Working at a university you see alot of laptops (More apples than anywhere else I suspect) but this is the first macbook I've seen.

The iMac was by far the highest-selling Mac of all time - the revenues from the iMac helped Apple survive while it focused its efforts on developing OS X.

Ring a bell anyone?

Definitely G3 iMac.

The iPod isn't a Mac.

The Apple II, but that isn't a Mac.
For sure the G3 iMac is the most popular Macintosh sold in terms of units in homes/offices.

Early Apple products had a much bigger market share at the time but for simple numbers of units it would have to be the original iMac.

Yeah I think it would have to be the iMac G3. Seems like evrey school had these things until they became obsolete and most of the ones I know of have switched to PCs now

Anyway what does Macintosh mean. Does it stand for anything or have to do with a person? Its just got me stumped.

Sorry to get off topic.

Matt.
