Question
I have a ibook G4 and when i touch the little stick part coming out of the charger (side what goes into the computer) it turns green !

Hey Willihouse... not quite a discovery of a light but perhaps a discovery of a fault in your charger!!

When you plug your charger in there should be an orange ring of light that signifies that your laptop is not at full charge. Once it reaches 100% this ring of light changes to green.

If you're not getting the light (orange or green) all the time your charger is either faulty, you're not plugging it in properly or the socket in your iBook is faulty.

dont worry willihouse ... it happens on mine too!

Could be a design thing so u can see where u r going plug it in!

... but when i lay it on my lap i get shocks from underneath my ibook.
ANd better still when my hubby is next to me and we are both plugged in i can lean over and touch him i can ZAP HIM while he is working on his powerbook!!!

Just then i looked up the top and the battery meter was in red, so i plugged the cord in and there was no light 0.0, i could feel my arse being sanded away from under neath me. But then i realised im sitting at the desk and i knocked the other end of the cord out of the point with my foot. PHEW
